What we do
Assessment
The therapist will complete a combination of formal and informal-based assessments.
It includes detailed discussions & a case history with parents/teaching staff.
Observations of the child within their education setting (e.g. classroom, free play).
The therapist will complete a report outlining their observations & findings, including
recommendations and next steps.
An initial assessment can take 1.5 – 3.0 hours depending on the complexity of
communication needs.Training
Training and support for those around the child to support their communication in their
daily settings.
Training can be accredited courses such as Makaton or bespoke to the setting’s needs
